Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been known to take special care of fans and strangers, but his most recent labor of love may be the most heartwarming of all.

In an Instagram video that the movie star published earlier this week, the Rock surprised his mother Ata with a brand new home.

According to the caption, the Rock has always done his best to take care of his mother and father. After he and his parents had spent years living on the road, he finally bought them their first house in 1999.

"They divorced about 5 years later and as with life, stuff happens and things got a little complicated," writes the Rock. "Since then, I always made sure my mom and dad have everything they'll ever need – houses, cars etc.
