Contrary to the misconceptions deliberately popularized by so called debunkers, aided by disinformation disseminated from the federal government and corporate media, the 9/11 truth movement was and always has been a fact finding campaign first initiated by the friends and family members of many of the victims who died that fateful September morning. A quest for truth initiated by the loved ones of those who died, who upon the conclusion of the underfunded government inquiry were left with more questions than answers. Feeling ignored and betrayed they set out on their own in a search for answers as to what really happened to those they held so dear.

The movement they started ignited a firestorm of public conscience and consciousness.
