The former independent presidential candidate made his remarks via X, formerly Twitter, where he referred to water fluoridation as "industrial waste." Kennedy noted that former First Lady Melania Trump also believes in removing fluoride from water.

Despite believing in numerous health-related conspiracy theories such as vaccines being linked to autism, Trump has vowed to give Kennedy a prominent  role in America's healthcare.
