House of Cards star Robin Wright has left the United States.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Wright said that America had become a "shitshow" and that she was happy to have left.

"It's liberating to be done," she explained. "Be done with searching, looking and getting 60 percent of what you wanted."

Wright went on to praise her new country, adding that she was relieved to get away from the noise of Los Angeles.
