• Goldwater Institute
Retiring U.S. Representative John Shadegg of Arizona has joined the Goldwater Institute as a Senior Fellow, where he will help fulfill its mission of economic freedom and limited government. Congressman Shadegg is stepping down from public office after 16 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He originally was elected as part of the freshman class of 1994 that ushered in the Contract with America and a major overhaul of the welfare system that put more people to work. He represents Arizona’s 3rd Congressional District and announced his retirement from Congress in January 2010.

Well, I had high hopes for them when Clint Bolick joined the helm. But this is where they jumped the shark. Nowhere to go but down now. I mean, MAYBE if they made him a JUNIOR fellow, because he is sooooooooooo not Goldwater material. It would take years of education to get Shaddegg anywhere near transformed enough toward free-market capitalism to remotely consider him a SENIOR anything. Fuck him sideways with a fork!
