China moves to 'globalise' yuan
09-01-2009

dnaindia
Hong Kong: China has signalled a seriousness of intent in 'internationalising' the yuan by appointing a high-profile task force to draw out a roadmap to that ambitious goal, which some economists believe will be realised sooner than most believe.
"The latest indications suggest Chinese policy makers are very serious about the plan to internationalise the local currency," says HSBC economist Qu Hongbin. He sees two underlying reasons for this: one, Chinese leaders see internationalising the yuan as "the best solution to free themselves from a dollar trap"; and second, as the third largest economy and now the world's largest exporter, "it doesn't make sense for China to use the US dollar to settle more than 70% of cross-border trade."
Vice-premier Wang Qishan, who is in charge of foreign trade and finance, has been appointed to additionally head a taskforce to oversee the moves to make the renminbi the currency of choice for trade settl

The New World Order Defined
09-01-2009
•
21st Century Brittish Nationalism,
The use of national State power under the control of a global government in order to maximize Corporate profits.
Now we know why the endless succession of government ministers who come from big business backgrounds want to be elected as MP's, so as to represent the interests of the corporations they work for, and why so many ex-government ministers end up as directors or working for corporations and big business when they leave Parliament, in order to get their payoffs for representing the interests of their corporate masters instead of the people whilst they were in power.
The New World Order is the creation of a Global Corporate Fascist Government where individual nations use the power of the State to repress internal dissent and democracy in order to maximise the profits of the corporations that control and fund the election campaigns of the political parties in power and who own the media corporations that get politicians elected into power.

Arrest made in U.S. theft ring that hit Bernankes
09-01-2009
•
Yahoo
He used OUR checkbook to give out money to his buddies but two wrongs do not make a right.
A woman described by a federal agent as a heroin addict with a stash of wigs was arrested in Miami on charges of being part of an identity theft ring that targeted the wife of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.
Shonya Michelle Young of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was arrested Monday night at a hotel near Miami International Airport on a warrant charging her with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, U.S. Marshals spokesman Barry Golden said Tuesday.
Young is charged in Virginia with being part of a theft ring that stole millions of dollars from the bank accounts of hundreds of people nationwide. Among them was Anna Bernanke, the wife of the Fed chief, whose purse containing checks from the couple's account was stolen from a Washington coffee shop.
Young carried a New York driver's license and debit card, both with a fake name, though not Anna Bernanke's name, Golden said.

WHY I CARRY A GUN
Thomas Costanzo
I do not carry a gun because it is comfortable,
carrying a gun is not comfortable;
I carry a gun because it is comforting.
I do not carry a gun because I am afraid;
I carry a gun so I do not have to liv in fear.
I do not carry a gun to kill people;
I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
I do not carry a gun to scare people;
I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.

Merkel, Sarkozy demand end to bankster “blackmail”
09-01-2009
•
Seeking Alpha
“No bank must grow to a size that puts it in a position in which it can blackmail governments.”
- German Chancellor Angela Merkel (August 31st, Bloomberg)
“These excesses cannot be allowed to be repeated as if nothing has happened.”
- French President Nicolas Sarkozy (August 31st, Reuters)
It didn't qualify as a news story when I repeatedly characterized the $10 trillion in hand-outs, loans and guarantees which the U.S. financial crime syndicate squeezed out of the U.S. government as “blackmail”. However, when the chancellor of Germany makes that same observation, it suddenly becomes newsworthy.
With the G-20 poised to meet in Pittsburgh next month, notice has been served on the U.S. government (and to a lesser extent, the U.K. government as well): either take control of your government back from the bankers, or expect to become an economic pariah in the global economy.

Informed Citizen News

•
BlueLoriBlogSpot
I am definitely of the opinion that those who surf the internet are far more informed then those who watch the Communist nightly news. Have you ever heard of Informed Citizens News? It is a broadcast that tells you news you will not hear nightly. This is the most recent broadcast I can find it covers Deficit Spending, Fascism in California, Home Schooling to name a few of the issues.
From the broadcast...
So far this year our government has taken in $1.7 Trillion Dollars but has spent more then $3 Trillion Dollars that is a $1.8 Trillion Dollar deficit in the first 9 months. What makes this a Perilous situation is that the tax receipts are down almost 20% from last year. Corporate income taxes are down 57% this is the largest percent since the last Great Depression. Our government has accumulated as much debt this year alone as we did during the first 210 years. Here are some news stories you should see on the nightly news but won't!

Commentary: Reasons behind September's market notoriety
09-01-2009
•
Market Watch
The stock market is about to encounter its two worst months of the year.
Fall is the time of year when the bears go for their annual romp down Wall Street. As the days grow shorter, stocks tend to decline in September and October far more often than they rise.
Indeed, these two months are the only ones of the year where the average change in the Dow Jones Industrial Average has been negative. They have also contained many of the major crashes.
There are several reasons why stocks usually stumble at this time.
One could be that by September, many firms can no longer deny that their earnings forecasts for the year have been too optimistic. You can imagine how this goes down with investors.
Another reason might be what amounts to a self-fulfilling prophecy. Because so many crashes have occurred in September and October, then these are the months when one should be out of the market -- kind of like whistling past the graveyard.
The annual reminders by the media and the pu

In Investment fraud Lawsuit Against Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, Court Grants
09-01-2009
•
Stock Broker Fraud
A District Court judge has granted class certification in the securities fraud lawsuit against Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs. The plaintiffs are accusing the broker-dealers of putting forth misleading analysts reports about RSL Communications Inc. for the purposes of maintaining or obtaining profitable financial and advisory work from RSL. Per Judge Shira Sheindlin, the class is to be made up of all parties that bought RSL Common stock between April 30, 1999 and December 29, 2000.
RSL investors, who are the plaintiffs, contend that the defendants artificially inflated the market price of RSL common stock, which injured them and other class members.
