David Schweikert running for Arizona Congress with a Ron Paul mask

Written by Subject: Politics: Republican Campaigns
David Schweikert has tried to pawn himself off as a Ron Paul Republican

He's tried to garner support from the Ron Paul Republicans.   However, he supports the bailout and will not come out against REAL ID.

Now, Club for Growth, Fred Thompson, and Cheney are stumping money for him. He has chosen the dark side and everyone needs to know about it.

Schweikert left for DC today for Club for Growth fundraiser. While in Washington, D.C., will David seek a meeting with Ron Paul? Hmmmmmmm?

I now see this post was from Sep 2008, before iCaucus had vetted him and before Obama had started dismantling our country.  It is not relevant.  Check out this website: http://icaucusaz.typepad.com/david_schweikert/#tp

This is interesting but where are the facts to back up your statements?  I can't find where he says he "now" supports the bailout.  We can all make mistakes and see the error of our ways.  The dark side?  Not sure what you're saying.  For me personally, Thompson, Cheney and Club for Growth supporting him is only a plus.  And he is an I Caucus endorsed candidate.  I believe they have like 80 vetting questions and a taped phone interview, and either a candidate passes or not.  He did.  I don't see why you're so down on him, as stated, give some facts so that one can make an informed decision.
