President 0bama promised that he was going to implement efforts to erase your right to bear arms “under the radar.”  Now, he’s brought the fight to Arizona.

Using the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the 0bama administration has proposed banning recreational shooting in the half-million acres of Sonoran Desert National Monument.

BLM has released proposed plans for the future management of nearly 1.4 million acres located southwest of Phoenix, in parts of Maricopa, Pinal, Pima, Gila and Yuma Counties.  Of that total, over 486,000 acres are within the Sonoran Desert National Monument.  The proposals can be found at:  http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/prog/planning/son_des.html

Two of the possible alternatives (“D” and “E”) propose closing the area to recreational shooters.  Presently, some 63 sites in the national monument are used by recreational shooters.  The proposed plans also address other issues of importance to shooters and hunters, including the designation of roads and trails for motorized vehicles and areas that could be managed as wilderness.

If you ride, hike, hunt or shoot in the Sonoran Desert National Monument, you need to get involved in this planning process!

The public comment period is open through November 25.
Instructions for making comments can be found at: http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/prog/planning/son_des.html .
Comments can be faxed or mailed to BLM, Phoenix District Office.

At the BLM website (http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/prog/planning/son_des.html) you will also find a series of public BLM meetings, being held in October, to discuss the proposal to ban recreational shooting in the Sonoran Desert National Monument.  Meetings will be held in Phoenix, Mesa, Casa Grande, Buckeye, Gila Bend and Ajo.  We urge you to attend as many of these meetings as possible.

This is not the first time that the BLM has attempted to close an entire national monument to shooters, making no attempt to provide places for and access to shooting sites.  The Ironwood National Monument shooting ban was defeated because of the outcry from concerned citizens (you!).

Together, we can defeat the 0bama administration’s proposed Sonoran Desert National Monument shooting ban!

    What "war on terror"?

There's "a" war, alright; just as any number of American troopers who are going into harm's way, outfitted with crap from the favored-status, corporate traitors, who make do dancing in the blood of American warriors and others. (Don't dispair: I haven't for a minute forgotten the lowest life on the planet - your selected officials - who aren't strong enough of character or will to put an end to the carnage and eventual destruction of what little is left of the American way of life. That's right - THE AMERICAN WAY!!!!! And, were damn-well entitled to it. We can and will live any way we chose in our OWN COUNTRY!!!!! Those who don't like it can eat ---t and, with any good luck, die, right after they KMA!

    If I hurt someone's feelings...Terrific!

Arizona has bigger problems than the anti-constitutional machinations of a one-term President. They might start with the American Gestapo enclave in Pima county. If that isn't enough to keep them busy, they could quit hosting federal criminal enterprises on their border with the terrorist state of Mexico.

Bill Clinton started this crap, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that a President who's never had an original thought in his life should attempt to co-opt the unconstitutional, anti-American standards and practices of yet another of his "heroes".

I'd wish the folks in Arizona luck, but they really don't seem to care very much, one way or the other. I'd say the state is going the way of Colorado: being "Californicated" into a pathetic example of liberal cowardice.

Don't believe for a moment that this isn't serious. It's a heart attack! And, it's a wake-up call for anyone who cares that our country is being destroyed, one simple-minded repudiation of human and Constitutional rights at a time. (I was actually thinking of moving to Arizona, six months ago. I won't even travel through that particular gulag, now. They wouldn't like me much: I believe in the Constitution and the sovereignty of the U.S. and each of its CITIZENS.)

I keep trying to tell people here the same thing:  WHEN IN A STATE OF WAR, OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS ARE SUSPENDED.  Lawyers are NOT your friends.  Their allegiance is to Britain, and in time of war, Admiralty/Maritime/Martial law prevails.  So your constitution is moot, but  the enterprise does not want you to know that.  So the lawyers are playing make believe, because they really are not needed.  It is a dog and pony show.  They are taking guns all over the place so that the enemy who is NOT for the people are the only ones with weapons.  Get it?  You are either WITH THEM or AGAINST THEM.

I don't doubt that this is a part of the Agenda 21 ploy. And when it is said that president O in implementing the efforts to erase your right to bear arms, then you have to know that there are other people, unelected people, that are behind this effort. President O is to much of baffoon to have any clue about what happens in Arizona let alone the entire country. He has that teleapromtor with speeches already written for him to read as if it is all his ideas, so you can again know that there are other people pushing for this.
