Tesla teases faster way to charge battery
• http://www.chron.com, By Dan X. McGrawRumors are swelling that Tesla Motors may make an announcement about their batteries after the company's CEO Elon Musk tweeted that there is a way to charge a Tesla faster than filling a car with gasoline.
Capacitors rather than batteries would charge fully in under a second. Can they make them that hold up to vibration? Can they assure anyone putzing around on the electrical system would ground themselves to the capacitor bank?
