Declare Your Independence with Ernest Hancock strives to create an understanding of the Philosophy of Liberty. Understanding is far more important than agreement -- that will come in its own time.

Cody Wilson (law student at the Univ of Texas school of Law) is working on creating a freely distributed printable gun design for the world ('Wiki Weapon')
3D printing technology allows objects and even simple machines to be printed from a
freely-distributed computer file. Cody Wilson wants to do this with guns
and share it with the world.
Cody Wilson is an engineer AND law student in the Drone Star State
who is creating a freely distributed printable gun design for the world.
(The Wiki Weapon). He and Michael W. Dean talk about guns, physics,
tyranny, where the world is headed and what we can do about it, and much
much more.
His project will revolutionize guns and kick-start the Printable Gun
Hobbyist Movement, while pissing off both liberals and conservatives.
Whats not to love?
Concept weapon: The Reinforced AR-15 Lower Receiver
A gun has many parts but only one part is regulated and serialized. The ability to fabricate the lower-receiver on a gun and then purchase
the un-regulated parts on the open market results in a weapon that
exists without regulation. You can do this today, with the right
equipment by downloading this file and following the instructions here or
below. This however is not the same thing as making a 100%
3D printable gun, using a printer that is produced using 3D printable
parts. The community of gun owners and supporters needs you
The Above AR-15 is mostly after-market parts, but the regulated component is 3D printed

The Wiki Weapon
From months of studying patents and gun mechanics, the team at Defense
Distributed has developed two prototype plastic handguns: These are Wiki
Weapons A & B.
The Wiki Weapon type A is the training gun- it has no moving parts and
relies on an electrical solenoid for firing action. Otherwise
the gun is 100% 3d Printable.
The Wiki
Weapon type B will have moving parts for its firing action. Initial
versions of the gun will be developed down for RepRap printing.

Though prices
have dropped recently, paying $100 for a stripped AR-15 lower receiver
was considered a pretty fair deal for quite some time.
The AR-15 lower
receiver was the first project that I started. I got the idea when I
saw the lower receiver forging that Pvt. Ryan at Roderus Custom Gunworks
was working on. He started with a raw forging, which is basically a
block of aluminum
