Madagascar is facing international isolation as the African Union has suspended its membership and threatened sanctions, while the US, France and Germany have rallied behind the deposed president. [who ordered mass murder]
There goes the last of America's reputation as a country that fights to preserve freedom for oppressed peoples everywhere. Very sad.

So isn't this interesting? A butcher orders his military to put down a protest. They refuse. The "president" is impotent, and in a bloodless coup slithers away. And the great western powers rally to his aide. Interesting.
