A USBP spokesperson tells "the press":
"Border Patrol spokeswoman Jenny Burke said Monday that the agency will not release any information on the number of arrests made by agents who work out of the Port Angeles station, the names of those arrested, what they were arrested for and the disposition of their cases"
“The number of arrests for Port Angeles' or any other station is "law enforcement-sensitive," Burke said.”
"The names of those arrested and other facts about them are not available for release under the 1974 Privacy Act, she said."
This means - 1. That there are arrests being made that would be embarrassing to the Obama administration - or 2. There are very few arrests being made, by orders of the Obama administration - or 3. The admistration believes it can use national security as a way of shutting down media/public access to their numbers.
Either way Amerika is getting screwed.

So, I'm confused. The privacy act protects these arrested individuals identity. But, everyone that's picked up for jay-walking through murder has their info published everywhere. How's that work? How do I get me some of that privacy stuff?
