Why is he still "director"?
This is exactly what happens when there is no oversight and accountability in the "halls of power", especially the backhanded elements of "law enforcemnt". It's almost beyond believability. If it wasn't to prevalent and blatantly obvious, it would pass for a fiction.
Never in my life have I seen or heard of a criminal politico who didn't make an effort to downplay guilt. Hell, these types of sociopathic misfits will claim innocence and ignorance - I'd buy the ignorant angle - even when caught red-handed.
I ask, "Who the hell are these people?", but I know them all too well. As do you!
