Rodney King, Found Dead at 47

• AP
The 1992 riots, which were set off by the acquittals of the officers who beat King, lasted three days and left 55 people dead, more than 2,000 injured and swaths of Los Angeles on fire. At the height of the violence, King pleaded on television: "Can we all get along?"

NOW...we can all just get along.

And the real victems of this b.s. were the officers that were betrayed and thrown to the wolves and savages by their own administration, allowing them to be twice put on trial and some sent to prison - - for doing what their administration taught them to do in the Academy to make a resistor 'comply' with police authority.  IF they had really wanted to hurt King he wouldn't have been standing in front of any camera asking if 'we all just get along', he'd be in traction or a coffin.
