Brittany Wenger from Sarasota, Florida took the top honors by creating a remarkably effective breast cancer diagnosing app incorporating a sophisticated neural networking program that mimics the way a human brain thinks. In essence, it's an artificial intelligence program that learns and adapts to new data, teaching itself to improve the diagnoses it makes. What she created gets smarter and smarter.
