112-year-old U.S. apparel maker in Pa. to close
• APFesslerUSA had survived war and depression, free trade and foreign imports, producing millions of knitted garments from its base in eastern Pennsylvania. Five years ago, third-generation owner Walter Meck and his family were feeling so good about the company's prospects they doubled capacity, moving into a former pencil factory outside the small town of Orwigsburg.

Thanks for sharing the info.:) By the way, another interesting issue was posted in an article recently. According to it, hurricane Sandy caused, among much more destruction, 16 Fisker Karma sedans to be immersed, which consequently caught fire. The automobiles are the latest instances of a Fisker fire, the cause of which is yet to be determined. You can also click on this link for more info.
