California Parents Outraged Over Sex Education Lesson

A 14-year old female San Marcos student confided in her parents that she was asked how far she was willing to go sexually, during a sex education lesson. Woodland Park Middle School reportedly asked students to stand under signs labeled, "smiled at, hugged, kissed, above the waist, below the waist, and all the way," reported 10News. School officials defended the "dating lesson," saying the goal was to discuss what is appropriate for dating at the middle school level. Students felt embarrassed because they thought the teacher wanted to know how far each of them had gone sexually. The school's principal said the lesson has been in use for several years now.
