It's been a fantastic growing season. Even though the farm was invaded with swarms of Blister Beetles, Aphid and Bagrada Bugs, it held its own and survived the invasions. The farm produced well over 100,000 pounds of fruits, veggies, eggs, honey and flowers. The total numbers are staggering to me. It's hard to believe my little farm produces that much food.
And now the time has come to close markets for the summer. This is the last weekend the Stock Shop Market (June 28, 2014) will be open. All CSA members and customers can go to the Farm Stand the following weekend (July 5, 2014) to purchase produce and eggs.
Pictured here is a Peruvian Daffodil.
The last market day for Creative Living Fellowship's Farmers Market is July 13, 2014. This is the last day CSA members can use their share to purchase produce and eggs.
Right now, July 12, 2014 is the projected closing date for the Farm Stand and remember all CSA memberships expired July 5, 2014. But this doesn't mean to stop coming to the farm. The plan for the Farm Stand in Tonopah, AZ, is to remain open for a few more weeks if tomato season continues to show good results, if not July 12th will be the last weekend.
If you plan to sign up for a CSA share or plan to renew now is the time to enroll. July 31, 2014 is the last day to add big bonus bucks to your half-share. If you want more information on the CSA membership program click onto the above tab CSA information and CSA contract. The farm needs a lot of support and one way to show your support is by purchasing a CSA share and become a member of Tonopah Rob's awesome farm. If you have any questions please call or email Rob. Phone and email address are in the information box at the top right corner of the home page.
