Tired of those seen-one seen-all cookie-cutter smartphone cases? Yes, we know they're useful, and we know that they can extend the shelf life of your handset, but few cases do more than just that, say, the HTC Dot View cases, for instance. But startup company Prynt's new eponymous smartphone case is definitely a peculiarity in the smartphone accessory/peripheral space. Here's why.
The Prynt was recently highlighted in a report from TechCrunch, as the case's makers gave the reputable tech site an exclusive preview of the new product. As the slightly-misspelled name suggests, the Prynt comes with a baked-in printer that allows you to print out physical photos, thereby allowing the case to act like an old-school Polaroid camera. Photos snapped on your smartphone will be sent to the case via Bluetooth, and that's where the magic takes place, as the built-in printer will create those printed paper photos for you in about 50 seconds.
