A 'world first' men's home sperm test kit which measures quality as well as count has been launched in the UK.

For many men, having to attend a fertility clinic produce a semen sample on the spot can be embarrassing.

As as a result, some choose to buy home test kits.

Until now, these self tests have only indicated the sperm count - ignoring the importance of sperm quality, which could mean that some men are falsely reassured.

But IVF experts from Motility Count, Denmark, have developed a simple and reliable, home test kit called SwimCount that not only indicates the sperm count but also shows whether these sperm are good swimmers.
