Nicole Shanahan Describes Her Rude Awakening To The Big Pharma-Autism Connection

The ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin described a chat she had with a neurologist who vented about how "the behaviorists have taken over the field of autism."

Speaking about her conversation with the neurologist, Shanahan said, "He goes, the behaviorists have taken over the field of autism. It is biomedical. Neurologists like me that try to get our work and voices out that there's something biomedically going on with these kids, we are all censored, we get no funding, the government completely ignores us and it ignores the medical needs of these children."

The behaviorists from Stanford Autism Center, Action Behavior Centers (ABA) and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) then tried to convince Shanahan to help them obtain government grants.

"I'm just trying to get my daughter support, and people are starting to fundraise off of her," she stated. "They're like, I'll help you with this, but I'm gonna send you a grant request."

"The behaviorists are very aggressive in protecting their narrative…that autism is a DSM-5 clinical diagnosis, it's a mental illness that you're born with or that you develop, it's a developmental illness like paranoia," Shanahan explained.

Meanwhile, her daughter was "showing real signs of medical issues, like screaming pain, inability to control her arms, biting herself," the former vice presidential candidate pointed out, adding, "she actually cannot speak."

Getting to the Big Pharma connection, Shanahan said that once she knew her child was not suffering from "just paranoia and anxiety," she was left wondering whether or not something could have caused or exacerbated the medical condition.

"That's where things get really dangerous," she told Breitbart. "This is where people get cancelled. This is the biggest secret Big Pharma has been trying to keep from us…perhaps there is something going on with either vaccines or with medications or in our environment or untreated illnesses that result in an autism diagnosis."

At this point in her quest for answers, the worried mother dug into the research of RFK Jr. and listened to testimonies of other parents and doctors who have been silenced for trying to speak out about potential causes of autism.

Eventually, Shanahan told herself, "holy smokes, this is the biggest cover-up in my lifetime and somehow I'm in the middle of it all. And, I found myself married to the guy who started the company that censors all these people."
