Trump Gives $35 Billion to Big Pharma for Weight Loss Drugs Outrageous!
• Activist PostCDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) research tells us that around 40% of U.S. American adults are affected by obesity. As a response to tackle this obesity epidemic, president Trump tells us that he has recently made a "landmark deal."
He reached an agreement with Big Pharma Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, manufacturers of widespread weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy to lower their costs for Medicare cover. Commencing in 2026, this will broaden Medicare's coverage.
On the surface, it looks as if Trump has given welfare to help the 40% of U.S citizens with obesity problems by subsidizing the costs of their weight-loss drugs. However, in actuality, he has, in effect, given welfare directly to Big Pharma fat cats by paying them $35 billion for their weight-loss drugs!
