Sources such as Fox News are reporting this morning that the suspected Tucson shooter was quoted as saying that he “was recruited by the Army”; however officials say “he was not recruited by the Army”.

The Army released a statement that said the suspected shooter tried to enroll in the Army at one time a few years back but was rejected for undisclosed reasons.

This obviously adds even more suspicion to an already horrible tragedy that took place Saturday during a political event at a Tucson grocery store.
