Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. - Candidates for Governor
Ernest Hancock begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting
A special hour-long debate with the candidates for Arizona Governor. Invited to attend: Governor Jan Brewer (Republican), Terry Goddard (Democrat), Barry Hess (Libertarian) and Larry Gist (Green).
Barry Hess- In Studio

Barry Hess, Candidate for GovernorBeyond running a campaign free of the taint of “Public Funding”, our objective is to offer Arizonans a real, clear and distinct choice as to who will be the next Governor.

Never has it been so clear that the Democrat Party ‘is’ the Republican Party (and vice versa), and never have they/it inflicted so much pain on the very people they promised to help.

Never has it been so clear that the problems Arizonans face are not because a Republican/Democrat ‘won’ or ‘lost’, like the Olde Media outlets would have you believe, but because government continues to grow with either.

There’s a simple rule of thumb to remember: The bigger the government, the smaller the individual.  The Libertarian Party is the party of small government.

Our campaign is not about ‘me’; I’m just the messenger who adheres to the oldest political philosophy on this continent.  It is the philosophy shared by virtually all of the Framers of the Constitution, it is the philosophy of individual freedom, and it hasn’t changed in almost 300 years because it has proven to be sound.

The Constitution for the United States of America was a ‘compromise’ for the libertarians, who were leery of a central government, and it came with some conditions.  The conditions are called, The Bill of Rights.  Libertarians are the keepers of a sacred trust between the People and their government. I mean to hold government to that contract.

I hope you will engage yourself this political election cycle, and make this your campaign.  True freedom, as envisioned by the Founding Fathers, cannot be had by any, until it is had by all.  So no matter where you may live, please talk about it, contribute to it, and encourage everyone you come in contact with to “come on along”.  This time is THE time.

As always, I remain at your service—
