Become A Force For Good In Your Neighborhood

Our Cause

Peacekeeper is the world's first decentralized, peer-to-peer protection system. We aim to build a new smartphone app, Peacekeeper 2.0.

It will be a superior protection system, an amazing alternative to the status quo. It will allow individuals to take personal protection to a whole new level.

A Real Solution

Emergency protection is a vital service that we all need. But let's face it - most of us know that the government is not able to protect us.

When seconds count, police are just minutes away. That's why we are determined to create a system that actually puts the odds in your favor.

Some individual police are heroes. But the institution as a whole is broken. It's bureaucratic, has the wrong incentives, and is too slow to be there when you need help.

We deserve better. We need better.

That's why we're building Peacekeeper. If the idea of a decentralized, fast, agile protection system that does an end-run around the State is something that appeals to you, contribute now and help us turn this vision into a reality.

The Impact

In 2013 we started with a vision to revolutionize community protection.

In 2014 we released our first mobile application on iOS and Android.

It is now 2015, and we are poised to create something even bigger and better.

By contributing to the development of the new Peacekeeper app, you will be helping to build a completely new system of protection from the ground up.

With a new, cleaner, faster app, you and your peers will have unprecedented access to real-time emergencies happening right around you. You can step in to be the hero someone needs.

And if you're in a crisis, help is as close as the nearest Peacekeeper user. Just use the app and every Peacekeeper user in the area will be alerted. Whether it's your ex-Marine buddy or your EMT neighbor, help can be there in minutes or even seconds.

Peacekeeper is the future. It's the Uber to law enforcement's Taxi. The Bitcoin of private protection. It's sweeping away the failed, monopolistic, violent status quo and replacing it with something fast, agile, and accountable to you.

What You Get

We have great rewards for all levels of support including beta testing! Additionally, If the goal is reached, you will get access to Peacekeeper 2.0 free of charge

What We Need

We need $75,000 to accomplish our primary goal, which is a rebuild and redesign of the current app for Android with a more robust feature set and workflow.

At $150,000 we can build the iOS version as well, and include expanded features in both.

At $250,000 we can include video and audio live streaming to your network, and even more great features like custom alert types for your groups.

At $500,000 we can include Apple Watch and Android Wear apps, and if we can fit them in to the budget, Windows Phone and BlackBerry.

Risks & Challenges

Our first app was a success, but there were a few pesky lasting bugs and we have learned a lot since then. The largest challenge in the past was development. We didn't have a lot of capital, team members or experience.

This time, we are raising the capital to employ developers who can deliver all the cutting edge features that our users want and need. We also have a team of professionals who are capable of taking Peacekeeper to the next level. We want to truly revolutionize emergency protection, and with your help, we can.

Another challenge may be to produce some of the rewards within budget, but we have been talking with many suppliers and it looks like we can do it. We are planning to have a cushion within our budget to cover any unforeseen costs.

Lastly, we face the challenge of providing a free and professional service to all our users while still making enough revenue to fund operations. We plan to include some unobtrusive ads in non-critical areas within the app, as well as including the ability for training companies to list their locations and unique discounts directly within the app. There will also be a paid premium element to the app that gives you access to additional features, including a library of training videos and other helpful resources.

Help Us Build a Better World

Together we can start a revolution. Together we can replace the failed, bureaucratic law enforcement system with a fast, private, peer-to-peer network of protectors.

Contribute today, share our campaign, and help us change the world.

Other Ways You Can Help

We understand that not everyone has spare cash to contribute, but anyone can still help:
