Like Americans trying to raise quick cash by unloading their unwanted
goods, the federal government is considering a novel way to reduce the
deficit: holding the equivalent of a garage sale.
Whatever the government does will come back to bite us on the ass at sometime in the future. And who's to say who those people are that are allowed to buy these lands and buildings? Just because someone has a lot of extra cash on hand does not make them a friend of the people of this country and someone you would want living a few blocks away or an island just off the shores of the US.
