Arizona gun club lets children hold high-powered guns while posing for Christmas pictures

• .
A local gun club in Scottsdale, Arizona is hosting an event for parents and their children to pose for pictures with Santa Claus while holding machine guns they would not be allowed to legally own. Even toddlers are permitted to hold high-powered firearms in the photos. Organizers say the event has so far attracted hundreds of participants.

Actually, what they should be doing is starting the little kids out on shooting recoilless and low recoil rifles... OF COURSE, with complete adult supervision.

I wouldn't even respond to this stupidity if it wasn't happening in Arizona. Nothing that indicates ignorance and abject asininity is impossible for the people of that state.

It's precisley the mental midgets who promote the possession and use of firearms as some sort of "game" who are most responsible for the raging stupidity that surrounds the intelligent and responsible ownership and use of these defensive tools. It really tires my ass to hear that any child is without a reasonable, carrying, and responsible adult in his/her life, but this kind of crap is as low a case as can be achieved!

With any good fortune, these people will crawl back under their rocks. And, theor kids will find suitable mentors and some real-life bodyguards. We all desierve better than this but the kids are in serious need!
