Gunman with grudge against Middletown mayor shot to death while storming City Court

A Middletown man armed with a shotgun and a long-standing grudge against the mayor was shot to death by court officers Wednesday morning as he stormed into Middletown City Court.

Tim Mulqueen, 43, of 14 Liberty St., died of his wounds at Orange Regional Medical Center later Wednesday morning, according to Middletown police.
