Bipartisan deal reached on expanded gun background checks

Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Pat Toomey (R-PA) have reached a deal allowing for background checks on gun sales online and at gun shows, NBC News reported Wednesday morning.

The agreement, reportedly reached late Tuesday night, would also include exemptions for gun sales between family members, and will be announced Wednesday.

I'm assuming it has a provision to require the kind of people most likely to shoot someone to get a background check before stealing the gun they are going to use...
