Many people in the Phoenix-area saw a mysterious sentence written in the sky: "Welcome the future of work is here."
Some took to social media with questions:
"Who is writing in my sky?"
"Anyone know who is spraying messages in the Arizona sky this morning?"
"What's up with these writings in the sky?"
So, who or what is behind the skywriting that had many Phoenix-area residents commenting on social media?
It's all about technology and collaboration, apparently.
Cisco's Collaboration Summit
The skywriting was to celebrate a tech conference in Phoenix.
Information-technology leaders are gathering at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa this week for the 2018 Cisco Collaboration Summit. The invitation-only, two-day event focuses on the effect technology has on the way people work.
"Collaboration Summit is our marquee event for customers and partners," said Christine Johansen, Cisco spokesperson.
Keynote speakers include James Chan, a venture capitalist with Bloomberg Beta, Rowan Trollope, senior vice president and general manager of Cisco's applications, and Michelle Chiantera, vice president for Cisco's global partner marketing.
"The skywriting is a great way to get our attendees excited - and showcase your stunning Phoenix sky." Johansen said.
