Precisely the problems that FreedomsPhoenix.com identified with the bill beyond the national id portion are now being corroborated by reliable media sources.  FreedomsPhoenix.com was the ONLY newsmedia outlet to identify these problems beforehand.  Not one other anywhere did.  Finally, we are seeing some fairly reliable MSM coverage (after the fact though, AFTER implementation of national ids for Arizonans via SB1070)

One of the items beyond national id that FP identified with SB1070 earlier this year was that it allowed anyone "arrested" or detained under the law to be held indefinitely and without due process of law unless and until their identity could be verified with the federal government.

 

Russell Pearce's retort was "well, that's not what was intended".  Except, of course, that's what the law actually said.

 

One of the most annoying faux libertarian columnists in America, our own Rob Robb of the Arizona Repugnant nailed it today, however, in his column below.
