PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has again vetoed a bill cutting taxes on the sale of gold and silver coins.

The Republican governor also vetoed two other bills Thursday and signed 38 others.

Senate Bill 1141 was the latest effort to cut taxes on trading in U.S.-issued coins considered legal tender. It allows state deductions on capital gains taxes that must be paid to the federal government. The governor said it contained broad language that could have unintended consequences.

Ducey vetoed a 2015 legal tender bill and former Gov. Jan Brewer also blocked a version.

Ducey also vetoed a bill boosting fees towing companies receive from the state because it would cost $1 million. He axed legislation requiring a top elected official to be absent during inaugurations in case of attack.
