David Collupy and Daniel Thibault (from Canada)

David Collupy

Born and raised in New England, David Collupy has always been a natural storyteller. In his adolescent days he experimented with 8mm film with his friends. During his college days he was an on-air radio disc jockey at WMWM in Salem, Massachusetts, and he also immersed himself in shooting and editing with video through his college's Media Department as well as Salem Access Television. After working on some local independent productions in the New England area, he decided to move to Southern California. In Los Angeles and the surrounding area, David worked mostly on independent films as a cinematographer. As a bass player and songwriter he also co-founded the ambient-metal band, 66 Steps.

In the visual medium, he found a niche in the horror genre and various eclectic filmmaking. Some projects brought him to New York City as well as various locations around the world including England and Kenya. Eventually he began to transition more into directing and producing.

After two decades in Hollywood, David decided it was an opportune time to leave California and he relocated to the Ozarks where he is based and pursuing new projects in filmmaking and creative media.

Daniel Thibault

My name is Daniel Thibault.  I tell people who ask that I was born in hell, Canada, and I am grateful that God guided me to Oklahoma.  I never really liked my country of origin, but I didn't know why then. Now I do. In my twenties, I read the Declaration of Independence and it moved me to tears. I could not believe that there was a country that was founded of these principles. I built a business that eventually sponsored me into the USA, and I became an American citizen by philosophical conviction. Later in life, I corrected my status, regained my sovereignty, and became a State National.

I got kicked out of my home at 13 and decided I was going to have an extraordinary life. Music was my passion, I have a platinum album to my name and I played Carnegie Hall.  I was in NYC when 911 happened. I became a volunteer on the site. It shook my vision of the world and decided to go back to school to learn about another passion, photography.  I became an assistant to Lucien Clergues in Arles, France and was sponsored by Fuji Film when I crossed part of the Sahara on foot with the Tuaregs

As a kid, most of the adults around me were crapping out of the worst diseases, so I also decided I was going to find a way to be healthy. My first girlfriend was a vegetarian. I was in love, so I followed. Eventually, I realized that every living being on earth, from the beginning of times to today eats raw. So for the last 20 years, I eat raw as much as possible. In 2019, I followed my heart and my lifelong passion for nutrition, and I became a certified Health Educator from the Hippocrates Health Institute.

I had a great awakening in 2018. I decided to sell everything, get out of the cities. When the plandemic was unleashed, I followed my heart once again and decided I was going to learn to grow food, build a self-sustaining homestead where I welcome like minded individuals to build a community and eventually open a health center. Midfest brought me to NE Oklahoma. I've been here since and Occupy the Land.
