Government Volt math Obama-style: If at first you don't succeed, just raise the federal subsidy!

Government Motors to increase Chevy Volt subsidy from $7,500 to $10,000! Excuse me but doesn't this proposal by President Obama constitute what he is most against? Tax breaks for the wealthy? With the income of the average Chevy Volt buyer $170,000, rich according to the Obama administration, why offer an additional subsidy that the 99% has to pay for? Could it possibly be that the embarrassment of Chevy having to shut down production just days after Obama gave the Volt his ringing endorsement supersedes the President's stand on taxing the rich? Hard to imagine that type of political grandstanding from this White House right...
