The Usurper Obama comes to Phoenix Arizona on 08/16/09. Chris is inspired to come to the demonstration and exercise His rights of Free Speech, which includes his RIGHT to carry a loaded AR 15 as well as his loaded Glock 17 a 9 millimeter handgun around while he is peacefully rallying for the rights of the individual. He encounters crowds of acorn sponsored astroturf who are only interested in utilizing the force of government to steal from one group (the Productive class) to give to the another group (the welfare class).   There are views of groups chanting for socialism, fascism and the nanny state welfare vs Freedom, individual rights and Responsibility. Our hero Chris does a few interviews with those that insist that when the government STEALS for a "good" cause that somehow negates the fact they had to steal the money in the first place!

Before he was president — even before he was a senator — Barack Obama was active on the board of directors for several organizations. Most people know of the time Obama spent with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers on the board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, but fewer people seem to know that Obama was also a director of the left-wing Joyce Foundation. The Joyce Foundation has always directed considerable monies towards funding gun control groups under the guise of scholarly research and anti-violence efforts. Thanks to the efforts of David T. Hardy, we know that Obama was part of a significant Joyce Foundation effort to subvert Second Amendment scholarship. Though Joyce’s efforts failed to sway the Supreme Court significantly, as evidenced by the Heller decision, Joyce has not given up on efforts to undermine Second Amendment rights and funds several anti-gun organizations. Among these is the so-called Violence Policy Center (VPC). The VPC long ago established a reputation fo

In case you missed it, about a dozen men with guns showed up at an Obama healthcare rally in Phoenix this Monday, at least one of them carrying a semi-automatic rifle.

The man packing the AR-15 (a really big gun)--identified only as "Chris B"--was interviewed by libertarian radio show host and publisher of libertarian site Freedoms Phoenix Ernie Hancock (pictured, who was also carrying a gun at the time of the interview). When asked why he was carrying a weapon, Chris B. responded, "Because I can do it. In Arizona, I still have some freedoms."

Chris B. also said that he "always carried a gun," except when showering, of course, when he'd "put it on the sink."

Eeek.

As it turns out, the entire interview was staged by Hancock, a long-time acquaintance of "Chris B," whom he'd met while working on presidential hopeful Ron Paul's campaign.

Hancock revealed to Rick Sanchez on CNN tha

The purpose is to encourage an open dialogue and address issues.
When it comes to demonstrations, open communication with those who plan on demonstrating is critical to the public safety.
The building up of trust with these groups enables us to understand their intent, to plan accordingly, and to explain to them the law and what the parameters are with law enforcement.
We work with our federal, state, and local partners who work events with us and share public safety information.
The purpose of the meeting with the person in question you asked about was to facilitate good communication and understanding of the group’s plan, our response, and the parameters within which we would work to protect the public and enforce the law.
Their demonstration was met with our public safety plan, and the result was no law violations, no arrests, and a safe public.”

The protester carrying an AR-15 rifle outside President Barack Obama's speech in Phoenix on Monday staged the "publicity stunt" with the help of two local Libertarian groups that have worked with the man on Ron Paul's presidential campaign.

Before attending a pro-Obama health-care reform rally outside the Phoenix Convention Center , the man who identified himself as "Chris" met with members of RP4409 and Freedom's Phoenix. That's according to Freedom's Phoenix Publisher Ernest Hancock, who is credited with coining and designing the logo for the "Ron Paul r3VOLution."

Armed men seen mixing with protesters outside recent events held by President Obama acted within the law, the White House said Tuesday, attempting to allay fears of a security threat.

Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, said people are entitled to carry weapons outside such events if local laws allow it. "There are laws that govern firearms that are done state or locally," he said. "Those laws don't change when the president comes to your state or locality."

I live out in the Country I do not know if you have had any experience with the "Gypsy's" they are a travelling group who wreck driveways and intimidate elderly people into paying them outrageous amounts for doing so. I used to live in the Twin Cities and I knew all about them from news reports and first hand experience since I had at one time worked for an Asphalt Plant where they would come in and purchase the wrong material for the job. Well recently they came calling I said I was not interested through the window well they are rather pushy and he wanted to continue the conversation. Those who are getting their diapers in a knot over the appearance of a man with an assault rifle at an Obama event need a little perspective. They might recall when a contingent of Black Panthers walked into the California State Legislative chambers with rifles and shotguns – while the legislature was in session – to make a political statement. No shots were fired; no one was injured; but the incident was intended to remind government officials of the purpose of the Second Amendment. Ordinary people – not the state’s police and military – are to have the ultimate power in a free society.

About a dozen people carrying guns, including one with a military-style rifle, milled among protesters outside the convention center where President Barack Obama was giving a speech Monday - the latest incident in which protesters have openly displayed firearms near the president.

Gun-rights advocates say they're exercising their constitutional right to bear arms and protest, while those who argue for more gun control say it could be a disaster waiting to happen.

Armed protesters asserting their right to bear arms, including a man with a rifle slung over his shoulder, gathered yesterday near a Phoenix convention hall where President Barack Obama spoke, a police spokesman said.

The protesters were taking advantage of an Arizona law that allows people to carry unconcealed guns, Phoenix Police Department spokesman Andy Hill said. Police made no arrests.

After 15+ years of continuous exercising of our Gun Rights, our relationship with the Phoenix Police has been cordial. They have been very cooperative in the protection of our rights and it has been a great benefit to all. FreedomsPhoenix and the Phoenix Police Department were willing to demonstrate that fact. I hope this continues, it is in everyone's best interest.
